Accounts Receivable / Payments Specialist
Location: Anaheim, CA
Pay Rate: $24-$27 per hour
Position Summary
Our Anaheim-based client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support daily payment processing and financial recordkeeping in a high-volume data entry environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate handling of customer payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, document, and post customer payments accurately
- Coordinate with multiple locations to obtain daily payment information
- Process credit card transactions and ensure proper recording of funds
- Handle customer refunds in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain and update tracking files and daily payment reports
- Navigate and work efficiently across multiple software platforms
- Demonstrate behaviors that align with the organization's mission and commitment to supporting both customers and team members
- Follow all applicable company guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 10 key by touch is REQUIRED for HIGH VOLUME data entry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Capable of independently researching issues and identifying appropriate solutions
- Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks and proactively take on new assignments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Collaborative team player who is willing to support colleagues and contribute to departmental success
